The SilverStone RM32 is a 3U rackmount server chassis engineered to house high-performance hardware, supporting up to a 360mm liquid cooling radiator in the front and dual-slot graphics cards up to 360mm in length. This steel enclosure delivers the thermal capacity and physical clearance required for demanding workstation and server workloads in a standard rack environment.

Broad motherboard support and full-length GPU compatibility

Designed to accommodate enterprise-grade hardware, the RM32 natively supports large-format motherboards including SSI-EEB and SSI-CEB, alongside standard Extended ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX form factors. It features four expansion slots and includes a PCIe 5.0 x16 riser cable to facilitate high-bandwidth graphics card installation. The chassis accommodates full-length GPUs up to 360mm, with maximum width clearances determined by your choice of power supply:

Liquid cooling optimisation with 360mm radiator support

To manage the thermal output of high-power processors, the RM32 provides dedicated space in the front for liquid cooling configurations. Users can mount a 120mm, 240mm, or 360mm radiator with a combined radiator and fan thickness of up to 80mm. The front cooling layout supports up to three 120mm fans, while the rear panel accommodates two 60mm fans to exhaust warm air. For air-cooled setups, the chassis supports CPU coolers up to 110mm in height, which adjusts to 86mm if the CPU cooler area sits directly below the riser cable.

Flexible power delivery and storage configurations

The internal layout adapts to various power and storage requirements. It supports SFX and SFX-L power supplies, as well as SilverStone 2U CRPS redundant power supplies for mission-critical deployments. The default PSU length limit is 250mm, but removing the 3.5-inch drive cage eliminates depth limitations entirely, allowing for larger power units. Storage options are distributed across multiple internal bays:

• Two 3.5-inch drive bays (which can alternatively hold two 2.5-inch drives)
• Three dedicated 2.5-inch drive bays

Modern front I/O and physical chassis security

The front panel provides direct access to high-speed connectivity with one USB Type-C port and two USB 3.0 Type-A ports. Monitoring system status is straightforward via integrated LED indicators, which display power status in blue, hard drive activity in white, and network status across two green LAN activity indicators. For physical security in shared rack environments, the chassis includes a side switch for chassis intrusion detection. The enclosure measures 438mm wide, 132mm high, and 488mm deep, weighing 7.86kg, and is compatible with SilverStone RMS01 and RMS09-20 slide rails.
