Returns and Refunds Policy
1. Australian Consumer Law Rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2, Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). This applies in all States and Territories: NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, TAS, ACT, and NT.
2. Auction Purchases
Due to the auction format, change-of-mind returns are not accepted. By bidding, you acknowledge you have reviewed the product details and your bid is a genuine purchase commitment. This does not limit your statutory rights.
3. When You Are Entitled to a Remedy
You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if the product is: faulty or defective, not of acceptable quality, does not match the description, is not fit for a stated purpose, or does not meet extra promises made about it.
4. Major Failures
For major failures, you choose between a refund or replacement. A major failure is where a reasonable consumer would not have purchased knowing the fault, the product is significantly different from description, substantially unfit for purpose, or unsafe.
5. Minor Failures
For minor failures, we may choose to repair, replace, or refund. If we fail to remedy within a reasonable time, you may choose a replacement or refund.
6. How to Request a Return
Contact support within 30 days of receiving the product with: order number, description of issue, and photographs. We respond within 5 business days.
7. Return Shipping
For consumer guarantee claims (fault, defect, misdescription), TrendyDeals pays return shipping. For other accepted returns, the customer bears shipping costs.
8. Refund Method
Refunds via original payment method. Processing takes 5-10 business days. If membership credit was applied, it is reinstated to your account rather than refunded as cash.
9. Membership Refunds
Membership fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law, where the Platform cannot provide services due to our fault, or if charged in error. Cancelled memberships retain access until the end of the current billing period.
10. Membership Credit
The AUD $24 credit is promotional, not redeemable for cash. If associated payment is reversed, the credit is deducted.
11. Damaged in Transit
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs. Retain original packaging until resolved.
