Itinerary:
Day 1: Australia (or New Zealand) to Johannesburg. Depart for Johannesburg and, on arrival, take the complimentary shuttle to your nearby airport hotel to rest before the safari begins.
Day 2: Johannesburg, Pretoria Sightseeing and Sebatana Lion Lodge. Enjoy a short Pretoria city tour, then travel through the countryside to Sebatana Private Reserve, arriving for lunch, a welcome cocktail and a stay briefing.
Day 3: Wildlife Talk, Museum Visit and Game Drive. Set out in an open 4x4 for a guided wildlife talk, visit the lodge museum and wine cellar, then take your first game drive to the Christina's Wallow waterhole hide.
Day 4: Welgevonden Game Reserve Safari Game Drive. Explore the vast Welgevonden Game Reserve by open 4x4 in search of lions, elephants, leopards and rhinos, with an optional night safari available.
Day 5: Guided Walk and Free Afternoon. Join a guided bush walk in the morning, then enjoy a relaxed afternoon at leisure around the lodge.
Day 6: Free Day. Spend the day at leisure exploring the lodge walking tracks and facilities, or add an optional Big Five safari excursion.
Day 7: Game Drive and Champagne Brunch. Head out at sunrise for a game drive that ends with a lavish African champagne brunch at Kudu Rock, followed by another afternoon safari.
Day 8: Free Morning and Evening Game Drive with Sunset Rock. Relax through the morning, then take an afternoon safari that finishes at Sunset Rock with a glass of champagne as the sun sets over the Waterberg Mountains.
Day 9: Sebatana Lodge, Apartheid Museum and Johannesburg. Depart for Johannesburg and visit the Apartheid Museum before checking in to your hotel for the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 10: Johannesburg, Depart for Australia (or New Zealand). Make your own way to the airport via the complimentary shuttle for your international flight home.
Day 11: Arrive in Australia (or New Zealand). Arrive home, with some travellers landing the following day.
