Itinerary:
Day 1: Australia (or New Zealand) to Cape Town, South Africa. Depart on your international flight bound for Cape Town, with in-flight meals along the way.
Day 2: Cape Town, South Africa. Arrive in Cape Town and transfer to your hotel, with the rest of the day at leisure to explore this magnificent seaside city.
Day 3: Cape Town Half-Day City Tour. Enjoy a half day tour past landmarks such as the Castle of Good Hope, the Company Gardens and the colourful Bo-Kaap. An optional Table Mountain cable car ascent is available at the end.
Day 4: Cape Town Free Day. Spend a full day at leisure in Cape Town, or join an optional Cape Peninsula tour to Cape Point and Simon's Town.
Day 5: Cape Town to Maun, Botswana. Fly to Maun and transfer to the Thamalakane River Lodge for a relaxed afternoon by the river.
Day 6: Mokoro Tour. Take a full day mokoro trip through the Okavango Delta with a guided island walk and a packed lunch.
Day 7: Maun to Kasane to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Fly to Kasane and cross the border into Zimbabwe, settling into your Victoria Falls hotel.
Day 8: Chobe National Park Full-Day Safari. Search for the Big 5 on a full day game drive, then cruise the Chobe River past its famous elephant herds.
Day 9: Morning Tour of Victoria Falls and Sundowner Cruise. Walk the rainforest trails beside the mighty falls, then enjoy a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
Day 10: Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park. Travel to Hwange and enjoy an afternoon game drive in Zimbabwe's largest national park.
Day 11: Hwange National Park Game Drives. Head out on early morning and evening game drives in open 4x4 vehicles with expert rangers and trackers.
Day 12: Hwange National Park Game Drives. Explore more of the park's diverse wildlife on further morning and evening drives.
Day 13: Hwange to Victoria Falls to Johannesburg. Fly to Johannesburg and walk to your airport hotel for a night at leisure.
Day 14: Johannesburg to Australia (or New Zealand). Enjoy breakfast before boarding your international flight home.
