Travel by overland safari truck from the coastal charm of Cape Town into the towering dunes of the Namib Desert, then onward to the wildlife rich plains of Etosha and the waterways of the Okavango Delta. Search for lions, elephants, black rhinos and giraffes on game drives, glide through the Delta on a traditional Mokoro canoe and cruise the Chobe River at sunset. The trip finishes at the thundering Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world, before your return home.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Australia (or New Zealand) to Cape Town, South Africa. Depart home on your international flight to Cape Town. On arrival you are transferred to your hotel with the rest of the day free to explore this beautiful seaside city.
Day 2: Cape Town to Cederberg. Meet your tour crew and travel up to Signal Hill and Lions Head for views across Table Bay, then continue to the dramatic valleys of the Cederberg region and settle into camp.
Day 3: Cederberg to Gariep (Orange) River, Namibia. Journey through Namaqualand and its first desert vistas, stopping for supplies in Springbok. Cross into Namibia and camp on the banks of the Orange River.
Day 4: Orange River to Fish River Canyon, Namibia. Enjoy a leisurely morning by the river with an optional canoe ride. After lunch head inland toward Fish River Canyon.
Day 5: Fish River Canyon to Keetmanshoop. Rise early to watch the sunrise light up the second largest canyon on earth. Later explore the Quiver Tree Forest and the Giants Playground rock formations near Keetmanshoop.
Day 6: Keetmanshoop to Sesriem, Namibia. Travel to Sesriem Canyon, a deep chasm carved through the rock and best explored on foot. Overnight near the gateway to Sossusvlei.
Day 7: Sossusvlei Dunes, Namib Naukluft National Park. Enter the park at sunrise and climb the famous Dune 45 as the colours shift across the sand. Take a 4x4 transfer to walk among the pans at Sossusvlei and Deadvlei.
Day 8: Naukluft National Park to Swakopmund. Join a local expert for a desert excursion and view the unusual Welwitschia plants and lunar landscape, then continue to the lively coastal town of Swakopmund.
Day 9: Swakopmund. Spend a free day in Swakopmund enjoying its attractions and German inspired cafes and bakeries. Optional adrenaline activities are available.
Day 10: Swakopmund to Etosha. Travel along the coast to Etosha National Park for your first afternoon game drive. Watch the plains for lions, giraffes, elephants and rhinos as you reach camp.
Day 11: Etosha Full Day Game Drive. Spend a full day game driving across the vast plains and waterholes of Etosha. Look for lions, elephants, black rhinos, giraffes and abundant birdlife.
Day 12: Etosha National Park to Kavango River. Drive east to the Kavango River near Divundu. Relax by the water and, time permitting, visit the dramatic Popa Falls.
Day 13: Kavango River to Maun, Botswana. Continue to Maun on the banks of the Thamalakane River. This bustling town is the gateway to the Okavango Delta.
Day 14: Maun to Khwai. Enjoy a game drive in the Khwai Conservation area on the northern edge of Moremi Game Reserve. An optional scenic flight over the Delta is available.
Day 15: Mokoro Excursion and Game Drive. Glide through the Okavango Delta on a traditional Mokoro canoe with a local guide. Head out again on an afternoon game drive in search of wildlife.
Day 16: Khwai to Nata. Travel to the Nata region, pausing at a pans lookout point along the way. The landscape features white sand, termite mounds and palm trees.
Day 17: Chobe National Park and Sundowner Cruise. Arrive at Chobe National Park and relax on a late afternoon river cruise. Look for hippos, crocodiles, elephants and many bird species.
Day 18: Chobe National Park to Victoria Falls Town, Zimbabwe. Cross the border into Zimbabwe and travel to Victoria Falls town. This mighty waterfall is one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
Day 19: Victoria Falls Town Free Day. Enjoy a full free day in Victoria Falls. Optional activities include scenic flights, white water rafting, bungee jumping and kayaking.
Day 20: Victoria Falls Town Free Day. Spend another full day at leisure in this magical destination. Explore the falls and surrounds at your own pace.
Day 21: Victoria Falls Town to Johannesburg, South Africa. Transfer to the airport for your internal flight to Johannesburg. Use the complimentary shuttle to your hotel and relax for the rest of the day.
Day 22: Johannesburg, South Africa to Australia (or New Zealand). Enjoy breakfast before checking out and transferring to the airport for your international flight home.
Day 23: Arrive in Australia (or New Zealand). Arrive home after your unforgettable African adventure. Some travellers may arrive the following day.
