Itinerary:
Day 1: Australia (or New Zealand) to Istanbul, Türkiye. Depart Australia or New Zealand on your international flight bound for Istanbul.
Day 2: Istanbul, Türkiye. Arrive in Istanbul, meet your tour representative and transfer to your hotel with the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 3: Istanbul Free Day. Relax at leisure or join an optional city tour taking in the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace with a Bosphorus cruise.
Day 4: Istanbul to Gallipoli to Canakkale. Travel to the Gallipoli battlefields to visit Anzac Cove, Ari Burnu and Beach Cemetery before overnighting in Canakkale.
Day 5: Canakkale to Troy to Izmir. Explore the legendary ruins of Troy, then continue to Izmir to see its Archaeology Museum and ancient Agora.
Day 6: Kusadasi Free Day. Spend the day at leisure or take an optional guided tour of Ephesus, one of the best preserved ancient cities in the world.
Day 7: Kusadasi to St. John Basilica and Ayasuluk Castle to Pamukkale. Visit the Basilica of St. John and Ayasuluk Castle in Selcuk before continuing to the thermal town of Pamukkale.
Day 8: Pamukkale to Antalya. Discover the white calcium terraces of Pamukkale and the ruins of Hierapolis, then journey on to Antalya.
Day 9: Antalya. Enjoy a free day in Antalya or join an optional tour of the Old City and the Duden Waterfalls.
Day 10: Antalya, Perge and Aspendos to Konya. Explore the ancient cities of Perge and Aspendos with its remarkably preserved Roman theatre, then transfer to Konya.
Day 11: Konya to Cappadocia. Visit the green tiled Mausoleum of Mevlana in Konya before travelling to the otherworldly landscapes of Cappadocia.
Day 12: Cappadocia. Explore Uchisar Castle, the Goreme Open Air Museum and Love Valley, with an optional hot air balloon flight available at dawn.
Day 13: Cappadocia to Ankara. Travel to Ankara via Salt Lake and visit the Ataturk Mausoleum and the Museum of Anatolian Civilisations.
Day 14: Ankara to Istanbul. Return to Istanbul and browse the Grand Bazaar, one of the world's oldest and largest covered markets.
Day 15: Istanbul, Türkiye to Australia (or New Zealand). Transfer to the airport for your international flight home.
Day 16: Arrive in Australia (or New Zealand). Arrive home, with some flights landing one day later.
